An Evening in Moore Park – Aug. 18

As part of the Cruise Against Hunger Classic Car Show to be held at Cross Roads Market  on August 18 from 10:00 a.m. until 4 p.m., “An Evening in Moore Park” will provide family fun in the village of Westfield, NY on that night. The Westfield Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market is sponsoring this alcohol-free event which will include a classic car cruise in and live music in a festive, market atmosphere.

Classic car owners are invited to display their automobiles on Elm Street, which will be closed between Main and McClurg streets to all but local traffic. A free concert in the gazebo by the The Lake Erie Banjo Jammers is scheduled to begin at 5:30 and end at 7:00 p.m. to be followed by a reunion performance by the popular band Cute is What We Aim For. Tickets for the Cute Is What We Aim For performance will be sold on site for $5.00. Proceeds from this event will be divided between The Food Bank of Western New York and the operations fund of the Westfield Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market.

Westfield Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market vendors have been invited to re-open their booths on Saturday evening and every restaurant in the village has been invited to set up shop in the market area to provide food and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks.
